SIRLOIN STEAK
The sirloin steak is a prized prime cut that comes from the hindquarter of the animal, specifically the striploin section. It is also known as porterhouse steak or New York strip steak in other countries.

Nutritionally, a 100-gram serving of sirloin steak contains approximately:
1. GRILLING
Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill the steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until internal temperature reaches your desired level of doneness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before serving.Â
2. PAN-SEARING
Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for 2 minutes per side, then transfer the skillet to a preheated 400°F (200°C) oven and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium rare or until the internal temperature reaches desired doneness. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Â
